Educator (MTeach) | Youth Coach | Accredited martial arts instructor

Hi, I'm Harrison Saito. Integrated Teacher & Martial arts coach
Who I am and what I do

I'm an educator (B Comm, M Teach.), youth coach and a martial artist (accredited). I help people build clear thinking, emotional steadiness, and real follow-through via education, traditional martial arts, and grounded inner work.
I find it hard to categorise what I do because my work lives in the overlap:
-
Education (writing, thinking, performance under pressure)
-
Martial arts (discipline, courage, nervous system resilience)
-
Presence training (learning to stay steady when life gets loud)
If you're a school student, this shows up as better writing and stronger confidence.
If you're an adult, it shows up as a calmer nervous system, stronger boundaries and more honest living.

My core philosophy

Two ideas guide everything I practice:

"How you do anything is how you do everything." The small things like how you breathe, how you avoid, how you speak to yourself become big things.

"The outside world is the inside world pushed out." How we relate to ourselves shapes how we treat our bodies, our families, our work and our communities.
I lead by example because that's the only way I know how to be genuine.

Why I became this person...

I grew up with a Japanese father (in video) shaped by post-war survival mentality. That intensity influenced our family and later my own patterns. Through inner work and disciplined practice, I had to face what I inherited and what I created.
What I found on the other side so far, wasn't motivation. It was something quieter and stronger: love, responsibility and the ability to stay present when life is uncomfortable.

What I think is happening in the world
We're more connected than ever, but so many people are internally disconnected. From their bodies, their values and their self-respect.

Self-love gets replaced by performance. Attention gets fractured. And many institutions meant to support growth feel slow to adapt or manipulated by greed. My response is to be the change I wish to see in the world. I hope to create a community until strength, intelligence and kindness become normal.
My vision

My dream is simple: more healed adults raising more grounded children, so we can live with less reactivity and more peace.
Not a perfect world, just a world with more presence, courage and care.
